Order Fulfillment Process

The order fulfillment processes presented by C.CoreTM have been developed to support the mandates of the automotive industry. There are two main functions in this area. The first is load planning, which assigns orders to shipments to be made. The second is shipping processes.

Load planning is the process of assigning orders to shipments. This is usually performed by a customer service representative who reviews open orders and inventory available to ship. They plan what will be shipped to the customer before the "load" is turned over to shipping.

The shipping process involves staging the parts to be shipped and reconciling the load. This is done by scanning the parts that have been staged, and C.CoreTM will compare that to the planned load. C.CoreTM will not allow you to dispatch the shipment until it reconciles. This prevents mis-shipments to customers. Once the load is dispatched, any needed EDI transactions (ASNs/Invoices) are generated and sent.
